The story

A short film written and directed by Anthony Adjekum, drawn from the transcript of the first interview Neville Lawrence gave the day after his son Stephen was killed. Approved by Neville and Doreen Lawrence, it screened at selected cinemas.

The approach

The words had to carry the film. Across camera, lighting, edit, grade and sound, my job was to give Neville's testimony room to breathe and never let the craft get in its way.
