The story
A Netflix feature documentary directed by Nick Green. Pastry chef Graham Hornigold is contacted by a woman claiming to be the mother he never knew, and what follows is one of the strangest true stories of the year. As Director of Photography I shot interviews and reconstructions in and around Soho.
The look
Rebuilding real moments for the camera. The reconstructions had to feel like memories, stylish and cinematic but grounded in what happened. It was some of the most fun I've had on a shoot, and it landed exactly the look we were after.
